Course Locations
The Gearing Up program's lecture night is generally at 1505 Carling Avenue, and the hands-on riding sessions are in the parking lots of General Dynamics Canada in Bell's Corners, Nepean or the parking lots of Alcatel-Lucent in Kanata. Your registration notification will specify which riding site you have. Both riding sites use the same safety lecture evening at 1505 Carling. The Experienced Riders Course uses different locations according to schedule. It is generally in the parking lots of Mitel Networks in Kanata, or elsewhere - details will be provided when you register. (Here is a map.) The technical inspection night is generally at the Ottawa Construction Association. The M2 Exit course involves riding on actual city streets. Lectures are at the Ottawa Childrens' Safety Village, which is at the same location as Lakeside Gardens (across the parking lot). Practice sessions and the home base for the on-street riding are at the General Dynamics site. The Winterizing course is taught at the course trailers on the General Dynamics Canada site.
